OPENED EXHIBITION - REFLEXES OF BYZANTIUM

12th annual exhibition of artists members of Multimedia artists association `Car Konstantin` organized with the title Reflexes of Byzantium 2014 was opened on June 2 in Nis Gallery `Pavilion` Fortress. Organizer of this year exhibition was Palilula Municipality.

`Within the programme of celebration of the Saint Day of City of Nis, Palilula Municipality in cooperation with organizations of civil societies and institutions organized many manifestations. The exhibition of the artists was only one of the activities of the Municipality. Today we live in hard conditions, Serbia is on the way to integration processes for the reception into the membership of EU. The authorities of Palilula Municipality maximally put efforts to provide artists to create their work without any obstacles, said Dragan Vidojkovic from the Department for information and PR, Cabinet of the President, Palilula Municipality. Vidojkovic in the presence of the manager of the Gallery for modern painter art Nis, Milic Petrovic and president of Car Konstantin Association Slavoljub Todorovic, opened this exhibition and greeted the present in the name of Boban Dzunic, president of the Municipality.

This exhibition gathered more than 60 authors - artists. Professor master Slavoljub Todorovic Zorkin, president of Multimedia association of artists Car Konstantin, explained that this association gathers professional artists from Nis, but also the creators from whole Serbia and countries in the Region. It is great honour, privilege but also the responsibility to be at the head of the Association that more than one decade successfully has been realizing the programme activities.

Exhibition will be opened until Sunday June 8 and all the visitors can donate also huymanitarian money for flooded areas.
